Foundation year Final Major Project (2013)
The story of a hedgehog that discovers the sky.
“There’s this quote from Jung that goes something like ‘loneliness does not come from having no people around you, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to you.’ Making the film felt like my communication.”
It’s about the desire to, and impossibility of putting into words, the overwhelming experience of the ‘oceanic’ or ‘sublime’, for me, usually triggered by nature’s spectacles.

Why  โ€œBeeintheBigโ€ ?

Because ๐Ÿs are awesome. They have an energetic buzz, working diligently for the good of their hive and the ecosystem. They harvest good stuff from nature and turn it into something sweet that has the power to nurture andย heal, whilst also helping out the flowers they took it from ๐ŸŒธ. Theyโ€™re tiny creatures in a big universe, but their place in it is a worthwhile contribution to the bigger picture. I aspire to be bee-like.

I’m a member of 1% for the Planet, which means I’ve made a commitment to donate 1% of my total earnings annually to environmental causes.
